Tonight at the till

Add a ticket and take a payment to see what the box office records.

    Your live check-in list

Door sales appear here the moment they are paid.

      No door sales yet tonight.

Press play to run a few minutes at the window, or add tickets and take a payment yourself. Illustrative simulation, not live data.

      Take the money

Four ways to get paid at the door

Every line is different. A reader is fastest when there is a queue, and the other three need nothing but the device in your hand.

Tap to pay on a reader

Tap, insert, or swipe on a Stripe Terminal reader. The card never touches your phone, and the sale is done in a couple of seconds.

      Card entry on screen

No reader in your hand? Type the card in on the device you are already holding and charge it right there.

      Send a payment link

Build the cart, then send it by email or text. The customer pays on their own phone, and you watch the status change to paid.

      Comp and no charge

Ring a $0 sale for a volunteer, a sponsor, or a guest of the house. It still issues a real ticket, and the reason is recorded.

      Staff links

One link opens check-in and the box office

Your door volunteers do not need accounts, training, or two different links. Share one, and they can scan tickets and sell walk-ups from the same phone.

      How it works

On your event dashboard, open Staff Links and create a link. Tick "Also allow box office" and that link now opens both screens, with a button in each header to hop between them.

      • No login, no app install. They tap the link and enter their name.
      • Add a 4 to 6 digit PIN so a forwarded link is not enough on its own.
      • Set the hours it works. Links stop on their own after your event.
      • Revoke it once and both check-in and the box office close together.
      • Give each link its own job: the kitchen door sees meal choices, the window sells tickets.

Issuing a refund moves money back out of the organizer's account, so that ability stays with event organizers and managers on purpose. Staff can see and resend, never reverse.
      After you charge

A door sale is a real sale

No side ledger, no envelope of receipts to reconcile in the morning. What you ring at the window behaves exactly like what you sold online three weeks ago.

      A real ticket, issued instantly

The sale creates a genuine ticket with its own number and QR code, exactly like an online order. Nothing is a placeholder.

On your check-in list right away

The guest appears on the live check-in list the moment you charge, name and all, so the next person at the gate can scan them straight in.

      A branded receipt by email

Collect an email at the till and the receipt goes out under your event name. Resend it later from the transaction list if they ask.

      Every sale in one log

Card, link, and comp sales all land in the same transaction list with who rang them, so the night reconciles in one place.

      Counted in your reports

Door sales roll into the same live sales dashboard, attendee reports, and exports as everything you sold online.

      Paid out with Direct Payouts

Card sales at the door settle to your own Stripe account on the same rolling basis as the rest of your revenue.

      Seated events

Sell the actual seat, at the window

Walk-ups at a seated event are where most box office systems fall apart, because the till does not know what is still free. Ours reads the same seat map your online buyers do.

      • Pick a specific seat, row, or a whole table at the till
      • The seat is held while you take payment, so no one else can grab it
      • Sold at the door means sold everywhere, instantly
      • The guest lands on the check-in list with their placement already on it
      Explore reserved seating

      Walk-ups and comps

Add a guest by hand in a few clicks when there is nothing to charge, and they join the same list as everyone else.

      Meal choices at the door

Pin a registration question to your check-in screen and staff can see who ordered the chicken while they scan.

      Find an existing customer

Look a buyer up at the till to add to their order instead of starting a second one under a new name.

      Add-ons in the same cart

Parking, drinks, merch, and programs ring up next to the ticket, on one card charge and one receipt.

      What you need

Almost certainly less than you think

There is no till to license and no proprietary hardware to rent. Start with the phone in your pocket and add a reader when your line asks for one.

      Readers we support

Stripe Reader S710, Stripe Reader S700, and the BBPOS WisePOS E. Buy them from Stripe, pair them once, and they show up in your terminal.

      Or no hardware at all

Card entry, payment links, and comps need nothing but the phone or laptop in front of you. Add a reader when the line justifies one.

      Your Stripe account

Payments run through your own connected Stripe account, so the money, the receipts, and the payouts are all yours.

      Nothing to install

The box office opens in a browser. There is no app to sideload on a rented tablet and no separate till software to license.

No box office fee and no monthly charge. See exactly what a ticket costs on the pricing page.

      Who runs a window

Built for the door you actually have

      Galas and fundraisers

Sell a last table to the couple who walked in, then hand them a seat and a meal card on the spot.

      Concerts and nightlife

Work walk-ups and will-call from the same phone your staff are scanning tickets on.

      Festivals and fairs

Run several tills at several gates, all selling from the same live inventory.

      Theaters

Take the curtain-time rush at the window, seats and all, without a separate box office system.

      Schools and PTAs

Parents at the door with cards and no ticket. Sell one in twenty seconds and get back to greeting people.

      Sports and tournaments

Sell day passes and parking at the gate, and add a family to the list before kickoff.

      Faith and community

Volunteers can run the table with a link you can revoke the second the night ends.

      Dinners and tastings

Add a walk-up to a table, collect their meal choice, and the kitchen count updates with them.

      Merch and add-ons

Parking, drinks, programs, and t-shirts ring up next to the tickets in the same cart.

      Questions

      Selling in person, answered

Do I need a card reader to sell at the door?
No. You can type a card in on the device you are already holding, send the customer a payment link to pay on their phone, or ring a $0 comp. A Stripe Terminal reader is the fastest option once you have a real line, but it is optional.
How does a payment link work?
Build the cart at the till, then send the link by email or text, or copy it and paste it anywhere. The customer pays on their own phone. You can refresh the status, resend it, cancel it, or issue a fresh one if the old link lapsed. Links stay valid for 24 hours.
Can a volunteer run the box office without an account?
Yes. Tick "Also allow box office" on a staff link and that one link opens both check-in and the till, with no login at all. Add a 4 to 6 digit PIN, set the hours it works, and revoke it in one click when the night is over.
      Can staff issue refunds?
No, and that is deliberate. A staff link can ring sales, send payment links, see the night's transactions, and resend a receipt, but moving money back out is a different level of risk. Refunds stay with you and your event managers.
Does a door sale show up on the check-in list?
Immediately. The sale issues a real ticket and the guest appears on the live check-in list with their name, so whoever is scanning can admit them right away without looking anything up.
Can I sell a reserved seat or a whole table at the door?
Yes. Pick the seat or table at the till the same way a buyer would online, and it is held and marked sold everywhere else the moment you charge.
      What about cash and checks?
The box office is built for card payments, so cash is not tendered through the reader. Record cash and check sales as offline payments on the order instead, and everything still reconciles in one attendee list and one set of reports.
When do I get the money from door sales?
The same way as every other sale: deposited to your own Stripe account on a rolling basis with Direct Payouts, not held until weeks after your event.
      What does it cost?
There is no separate box office fee, no monthly software charge, and no contract. Door sales carry the same simple per-ticket pricing as the rest of the platform, plus Stripe's in-person card rate.

Never turn away a walk-up again.

Every phone at your door can take a card, text a payment link, or comp a guest. No setup fees, no monthly fees, and you are paid as you sell.
